Making the Most of My Blog

I know I haven't been blogging for that long, but I've learned really quick that I love it. I love being able to share things and learn things from friends that live all over the country. It's great!! I would, however, like to gain something from the time I spend on my blog each day. It would only benefit my family, since I'm a homemaker and soon to be SAHM.

I admire a lot of the blogs that I look at everyday and wish that I could gain the know how to make mine as inspirational. My problem is, I don't "know how." I'm a quick learner, I just need some guidance. I'm hoping that putting myself out there will "work for me" this Wednesday.
I need help girls!!! Anyone willing?

  1. I've been blogging for less than a year and would love to see mine improve as well! I guess the most important thing I'm learning is to be yourself. While I would love for my blog to be like some of the more popular blogs I read, I have to make sure that I keep it real and true to who I am and what I believe.

Look forward to reading others responses! :)

  2. I'm also new to blogging. As someone who LOVES writing, I love blogging even more. I am hoping to learn as you are. I look forward to seeing what advice you receive.

  3. My main advice would be not to get hung up on being popular and getting comments. Be yourself. Write as you feel led. Don't let the comments guide your blog. Let it be a hobby or a way to communicate with friends or a journal -whatever you want- just don't let it influence your happiness or self confidence.

  4. Be yourself and write often. Some days it's difficult to find your voice, but keep writing.

I also recommend StatCounter, Google Analytics, & Feedburner. It's helpful to know where your readers are visiting from, who they are, and what they like to read.

But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more Psalm 71:14
