FF: Oh Smudgy!!

Yesterday was one of the most relaxing days I've had in a long time. I was able to spend 3 hours at a spa...can you believe it?

It was so nice...I'll share the whole experience with you at a later time, but I do want to show you this.

Please refrain from making comments about my ghostly pale skin...remember I was pregnant for 9 months and couldn't get any sun...mmm k?

I'm not one that's big on having manicures and pedicures. Not because I don't enjoy them, just because I FAIL to relax during them. I am always thinking of things that I need to get done, that I ruin the calmness of the experience. Silly huh? I know. That's just me...welcome to my little chaotic "gotta be in control" world.

Well, I thought yesterday that I was going to be able to relax and enjoy the whole spa experience, but when I got to this part, all I think about was that it had been 3 hours. It was feeding time for the girls and I wasn't there to feed them. So, I ended up rushing to get out of the spa. Here's where the FAIL comes in. Instead of wating a good while to let my oh-so-pretty, freshly painted nails to dry, I picked up my keys and slipped on my filpper floppers and ran out the door. This is what happened.

Go figure huh. I've got to learn to relax don't I. I knew that Mike was ok with the girls, I just FAILED to sit back and enjoy the relaxation at the spa.

Now I have smudged nails for however long this polish will stay.

Oh well. It's still pretty and I'm not too stressed out about it.
