Week of Fun

Last week was really busy. We went to the park several times and Rolly Pollies. Perfect place to play when it's cold outside. We were invited to a little Valentines Day party at the last minute and guess who wasn't prepared? ME!!!

I ran to the dollar store and picked up a Pooh Bear set for a $1. Next time, I'll have something in mind thanks to Pinterest.

I'm really trying to step outside of my comfort zone so I can help socialize my Littles. I've gotten more involved in some outside the house type activities. A military moms group and MOPS at my church. Such a blessing. The girls are doing really well and are learning how to play with others.

Thanks to some worn out little girls, nap time was longer than usual. It's amazing how well babies sleep when they spend all their energy climbing up and over things at the park. I was able to clean out this mess of a fridge. When you can't see the back, it's time to sort through it all. Let's see here...
Muffins, leftover queso for the hubs, lot's of eggs, yogurt, Plant City strawberries *squeal!!*, lunch meats and cheeses, leftovers, grapes in a bowl. That's just the front view.

Please don't judge *sad face*

Saturday, the wind was blowing up a storm. We played in the yard in short spurts. Fifteen-twenty minutes and then back inside. No wind-chapped cheeks for these Littles.

Despite the back and forth, they had so much fun. We raked the pine needles....again...and they even helped. Next weekend, we'll finish it all up. I'll make sure they have their own little bags to fill. They're big helpers with yard work.

During nap time, I planted our seed collection to kick off our garden this year. This is only a sneak of what we'll be growing. So excited!!!

I used some recycled egg cartons and placed them safely up top on the shelf...in the sun.
Sprout little ones, sprout!!

Saturday evening, we decided to get a fire going. First one this year. Woohoo!!!!! The girls were amazed! Jumping up and down, clapping their hands. They were thrilled to get to have "a baby tree in the fire place because Daddy is going to make it go night night." Yep. Straight from their little mouths. Melted my heart.  Savannah helped Daddy get the fire going.

Sunday, the high was 32. It was freezing. The weather this year is so confusing. We had a fire going pretty much all day. The girls have learned not to step on the tile when a fire is bright. So far, so good. Don't worry though. My Moma eye is on them 100% of the time. I promise!!
Snuggles with my babies.

Mike and I took turns going to the gym. I know, it's sort of sad, but no child care on Sundays. I don't blame them. I said a big YIPPEE!!! I was able to run 1.5 miles without feeling like I was going to pass out. Maybe this bronchitis thing is on it's way out the door. Workout Moma is back...oh yeah!!!

Tomorrow is the big day of LOVE. Do you have plans with your special someone? We have a special meal planned that we'll share with the Littles; Mahi mahi, wild rice, and sauteed zucchini. Mmmm...mmm!!!

Well, I'm off! It's laundry day.
