Ummm....Did I?

Last night I plopped down on the couch after enjoying a nice hot shower. It had been a long day...lots of fun and busy busy. I was pooped. I love hot showers after a long day. So relaxing that I don't want to leave. It seemed like the day had pretty much flown by even though I know it took it's normal scheduled time slot. But, it just seemed that way.
Ya know?

  • Full house cleaning.
  • All the laundry...DONE!
  • Chickens fed, dogs fed, kids fed. *smile*
  • Trip to the park.
  • Picking weeds during nap time.
  • Coupon clipping.
  • Supper prep.
  • Bath time.

What a day!!!

When we were getting ready for bed, I looked in the mirror and stared at my hair. It didn't look right. A tad oily in fact. I looked at my hubby and said,
"I think I forgot to wash my hair."

His comment of course was,
"I thought you still smelled a bit."

Ha! He's always there to make me smile.

Still in disbelief, I looked in the shower to attempt a back track.
Did I even pick up the shampoo?
How does someone forget to wash their hair?

Apparently I had and it was then I realized how tired I actually was. So tired that I forgot to wash the little bit of hair that I have. What a day? I'm sure I'll have more like this down the road, but what a good laugh before I dove off to dream land.

Do you have days like this...often? Today, I'll start my day off my washing my hair. Pretty good start if you ask me.

  1. Teehee! This made me laugh out loud! Nice work accomplishing everything yesterday...and yes, sometimes I forget even the smallest things in the midst of busy, crazy, toddler-filled days :)

  2. Hee, hee! Oops! Just wait. It gets soooo much better the more children you have. I was already forgetful before, but now I think my brain has been completely zapped.
