Friday Fail: Time to Slow Down

Oh geese! It's Friday already. I can't believe that this week has gone by so fast. It seems like we've been to the doctor every day almost. Making sure that the girls aren't getting worse; which they're not. I truly thank God for that.

This week I've been so consumed with trying to help them get better, I've neglected the little things about them. Here I am running around the house trying to keep things spotless when I should be laying on the couch with my girls.
This is my fail this week.
It really hits me when Mike comes home from work. When I see the way he looks at them and talks to them I feel so bad.

So, here we are; Moma, Hope & Savannah. Up at 4:45 a.m. watching the Jetson's on Boomerang. (I wonder why they don't make cartoons like this anymore. Hmm...) We're getting some one-on-one time and they're actually starting to watch tv. It amazes me. They're growing so fast!!!

Anyhoo. I pray that I will slow down and enjoy  the little things that make my girls so....

This post is linked to My Blessed Life.

  1. Enjoy time with your babies!! I'm expecting in April and my plan is to ignore the house for awhile! (Not let it get nasty or anything but I'm not going to worry about the small things and a little clutter in an attempt to spend the most time with my little guy!) The babies just want mommy!! (And ignoring your house for them would be far from a fail too...something I need to tell myself over & over!!) :)

  2. Definitely spend time with your girls! Let the house will have plenty of time for it later. Your girls need lots of cuddling...and I'm sure you do too! :) Take care girl!

  3. It doesn't sound like a fail to me, it sounds like you made an observation that will serve your family well in years to come. Savor the little moments :)

  4. Always a great reminder to ENJOY the blessings we've been given! Thanks for sharing. :)

  5. Kristen, don't worry about the small stuff! Your babies are growing up so fast...enjoy each moment!

I hope everyone is doing better this week!

Thanks for participating in Friday Fails! :)

I love hearing from friends. Tell me what you think..God bless!

But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more Psalm 71:14
