Letter to my Husband
When we first met, I never imagined the plans that God had in store for you and I. I looked at you as a crush that would become a good friend. I never imagined that we would be where we are today. You always made it clear that you never wanted to become involved with a military girl.
I'm so thankful that you changed the way you looked at me...you looked past the stripes and title and saw someone that you could be with.
When I look at you, I see someone that is so secure in themselves and so strong...it makes me proud to have you as my best friend and other half. I know that no matter the situation, you are always going to be there to guide me in the right direction and offer the support and love that I need. You are an amazing father. I love watching you when you're with the girls. I can see how special they are to you. I can't wait to see how alike yall are....it's going to be interesting :~)
I am so incredibly proud of who you are. You get up every morning with the most adorable smile and walk in the door in the afternoon with the same smile. I love it!!!
You work hard to take care of your family and to make sure that we have what we need to get by.
I want to thank you for all that you do for us. Being in the military isn't always hard, but it isn't always a piece of cake either. You make it look so...easy.
I respect you so much because the man you are..loving, silly, giving, determined, strong-willed, grateful.
I love you and hope that you realize exactly how much.
