Ok yall. This is one of those recipes that is so crazy easy yet so insanely delicious!! I mean it's insane!!!
You'll need the following items:
Your crock pot
A Pork roast (Boston butt, pork shoulder, doesn't matter)
Worcestershire sauce (I call it WO Sauce )
Apple juice
salt
brown sugar
That's it!!!
Here's how it falls apart goes together.
Roast goes in the crock pot. Mine was definitely frozen as you can see above. Pour 1/3 cup WO sauce all over it. Press 3/4 cup of the brown sugar on to the roast...all over the sides, top, and bottom. The recipe call for 1 cup of apple juice, but I felt that it needed more, so I added another cup. Don't, listen carefully,don't pour the apple juice on the roast. You want the sugar to stick.
Put the lid on and set it and forget . No really, set it for about 6-8 hours or how ever long you have. When you're ready to eat just pull it apart and devour that baby eat it up.
Now, here's a suggestion. Pulled pork sandwiches are yummy too and this recipe is AWE-some for that. But, in reality, who really has time to make them when they are seriously cravingg them? Not I.
So, here's a nice trick. Take your leftover pork and shred it up. Pull out your muffin tin and spray in with some oil. Dish up some pork into the tin and cover with plastic wrap. Toss it in the freezer, gently of course. Once it's frozen, remove the servings and put them in a large freezer bag labeled
"Pulled Pork Sandwiches."
Easy shmeazy huh?
When you're ready to eat them, take a serving out to warm up and serve it on a nicely toasted sandwich roll. Talk about yummy and quick. We {heart} them.
