A New Week

Hello Monday!

Super Bowl is over, time to clean up and press forward with the plans for this week.
I don't know about yall, but I wasn't too impressed with the football game yesterday. It just wasn't as thriller as the years past. So, instead I sat at the table with my recipe book and sales papers and figured out this weeks meals.

For our big football meal, we chose to smoke some ribs instead of frying up some buffalo wings. And since the smoker was going, I threw on some chicken quarters to cook up for other meals this week and to throw in the freezer. One less thing for me to cook, right?

So here's my thinking...

Monday: left over ribs
Tuesday: hamburgers
Wednesday: chicken quesadillas
Thursday: Mike's Promotion Ceremony--dinner provided
Friday: pork pot roast (freezer)
Saturday: lemon chicken pasta
Sunday: lasagna (freezer)

I'm trying to keep it simple so I can work on cooking some other meals to put up in the freezer. It's time to restock that thing with some prepared meals.

What is on your menu this week?

  1. You have a great week planned! I wasn't too impressed with the game yesterday either. Like you said, it wasn't like it has been in the past.

I need to get cooking for the freezer too! It's on my list of things to be done.
