The Mr likes to refer to it as "feeling crafty."
I nod in agree-ance (if that's even a word)
and continue to piddle away at whatever my fingers may be doing at the time.
Cutting, sewing, gluing, twirling, tying knots or bows, whatever it may be.
My girls have joined me in some creativity in return for keeping quiet. It's funny the conversation that goes on between the three of us. Not much sense in the matter, but comical...yes.
I've spent many days trying to figure out how to find more of this thing people call "me" time...I don't know how much more "me" I can get than this. They're like exact replicas of myself ... I'm thinking I'll start letting them dibble dabble with me more often. It's quite an experience.
How fun! I've had a wreath and felt sitting on my craft table for at least three weeks waiting for me to make a fall wreath. Ack!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a tutorial you used for the hairbows you made a week or so ago (and posted on instagram)? Whenever I make that type they never look right :-/ I'd love to know your secret! :)
Ha ha. No, I don't have one, but I can attempt to make one. It took me a long time to figure how to keep from having wonky looking bows. That's what I call them ;-) Let me try and see what I can do. OR I can just send you some.
